94 million TJX records stolen

Banks are claiming that the data breach at retailer TJX actually affected 94 million consumers, rather than the 46 million customers TJX claimed.

Massachusetts and Connecticut Bankers Associations, claims 65 million Visa account numbers and 29 million MasterCard account numbers were stolen.

What is more bizarre (and scary) is how much data was moved out without any indication to the owners (I posted some more comments here previously http://chuvakin.blogspot.com/2007/11/but-will-you-detect-it.html)
